Thanks (for nothing) Obama!

It was the profound hypocrisy of liberalism that drove me to the other side years ago– I couldn’t understand why the ‘women’s groups’ were so aggressive in defaming the women who came forward to complain about the boorish behavior of then-President Clinton. Living under the mantle of ‘liberalism’ requires one to be so deeply in denial that once a couple lies become visible, the entire charade falls apart, leaving you wondering how you ever saw the world that way.

Thanks, Obama!

This is one of those times when the hypocrisy is so severe, so obvious, and so important that conservatives are surely picking up voters by the thousands in each county, at every town hall meeting. Once the Speaker of the House calls you ‘un-American’ for taking the time to talk to your representative, you start to see things differently! Not to mention the liberal talking heads calling you ‘nazis’, ‘thugs’, and who knows what else.

Today our district received a mass e-mailing from the office of the president– from obama– asking that every person who is ‘for’ the ‘right things’ show up to Gwen Moore’s town hall meeting, to be sure the ‘right’ facts are ‘explained’. The message went on to state how important it was for like-minded people (I am on the e-mailing list in spite of finding her to be the biggest example of an idiot getting elected by her electorate only because of the color of her skin) to be there. She is having it during the afternoon, guaranteeing that working people cannot show up and ask the wrong questions– although she also has announced that only the questions that are ‘pre-screened’ in advance will be answered. Don’t wait for discussion on tort reform to break out!

The hypocrisy though comes not from idiot Gwen Moore, but from obama– and it is so obvious that I wasn’t even going to bother commenting, assuming everyone sees it.  But I am writing for those people who, like me a decade ago, are living in liberal fantasy-land, and who are perhaps closer than ever to seeing the truth, tossing away the blinders once and for all.   The obama-media have said for months that conservatives are in disarray– but now the town hall protests are supposedly ‘organized’?  By who?  Nancy Pelosi please tell us–  who are the ‘nazis’ and thugs organizing all of this– getting the middle-aged and older folks to come out to a town hall meeting? And Nancy, how do you draw the line– is EVERYONE who disagrees with you ‘un-American?’     The biggest hypocrite of all is obama himself– while calling the people who are sick of watching the country go broke ‘organized’, he is the one sending e-mails trying to organize the ‘right’ response!  He is the one who called on the Unions to scare the old folks into shutting up!  HE is the one who told Congressmen– OUR servants– to ‘hit back twice as hard’!!  He is also the president with no experience at anytshing… expect for working as a community organizer! In other words, his entire claim to fame as a working person is doing exactly what the ‘un-Americans’ are doing right now!  Apparently, though, it is GOOD if you do what obama does…. but BAD if you have any other opinion.  Add Pelosi saying that ‘stifling debate is.. un-American.

Wow.

Take a look, people.  this is liberalism.  Yes, an extreme, stupid, ugly, out of control form of liberalism– but deep down the same hypocritical liberalism that has always been the case.  By the way, did Al Gore ever turn the lights out in his mansion– the one he goes home to , by jet, after telling you to drive a compact car?  I doubt it.

A recent Rasmussen poll found that 80% of adult likely voters believe that Obama’s policies have driven up the Federal Deficit. The biggest question I have after reading those results is, where have the other 20% of people been living? Sure- SOMEONE must be watching Dem hack ‘oldbie-wannabee-Hannity’ Olberman (I don’t know if that is how he spells it– and don’t respect him enough to look it up). Then there is that big-boned woman with the fake smile and short hair who is probably the only late-night person with lower numbers than Olberman– what’s her name? I don’t even know– not worth knowing. That whole group on MSNBC are such a joke; I want to see the videos of all of them washing Obama’s toilets on the weekends, something I assume they do, given that they are each begging to be the biggest president brown-noser over the others. ‘Let me do it, Pleeeeeeese?’

It has gotten funny now; at first I was shocked, but then I realized that America has had idiots at the helm before. Not Harvard MBA ‘W’– a person who will glow in history compared to the folly that followed! I’m talking about peanut-farmer turned prez Carter– he was almost as big a fool as Obama, and we survived, right?

How long before the American people turn on the Nixonian tactics– the latest message put out by the White House to ‘snitch on your neighbor’– ‘let us know if you see anything ‘fishy”, they wrote. Wow. What will Obama’s people do to us ‘fishy’ people with ‘fishy’ web sites? Since nothing surprises me anymore I should just see how Chavez handled them– what did Hugo to the South do with the ‘fishy’ people?

Then we have the clueless Congressman Kagen sitting in front of the ‘mob’ of angry old ladies sent by… by who? Barbara Boxer says that the same people she saw in Florida at the recount are now showing up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, causing trouble at town hall meetings! I had no idea you could mobilize old ladies so quickly without using Bingo as a lure– how does that ‘vast, right-wing conspiracy’ make things click so well?! You all remember Kagen– he is the allergist who has been sued by a couple hundred of his patients, who decided to go to Congress. He must have heard that you don’t get sued for malpractice for screwing up the country like you do for being a bad doctor!!

Do you think that Obama in his heart of heart recognizes the irony that his ‘claim to fame’ before the Dems fell in love with him was working as a ‘community activist’– the type of guy who mobilized ‘angry mobs’ to appear at Town hall meetings? To mobilize the very people he now tries to discredit? If those people don’t count, what exactly did Obama accomplish in his years before being annointed president? Or do you think Obama, in his heart of heart, recognizes that when he says the mobs at the meetings are ‘organized and generated’, and at the same time asks people to ‘come out in force at those meetings’, he is being, like, really hypocritical? So hypocritical to be a little bit funny?

I’ll stop talking about his heart, for obvious reasons. But this blog– I don’t write much because the big smear on the underwear that is our Federal Government’s– the smear that is having Obama as president– is so big that I don’t need to point it out anymore. Ick. But the deficit question– in case you are one of the 20%, go back and find one of Obama’s speeches when he talked about Bush’s horrible, 400 billion dollar deficits. The deficit is now 1.8 Trillion, and will stay in the trillions for years.
